On July 26th, we held a casting call for our upcoming movie, The Cornbread Cosa Nostra. News station WLOX covered our auditions for the Sunday night show.
Reporter Jonathan Brannan interviewed director Travis Mills about the film:
“I think when you make a movie in Mississippi, about Mississippi, with people from Mississippi, you come up with something really special and unique,” said Mills.
Jeremy London, known for his work in Mallrats and Party of Five, is an actor and producer on the film. Brannan also spoke with him about the new movie:
“It’s good for the community, it’s good for the state, and it’s good for the morale of the actors. And, it’s just fun. It’s our happy place,” said London.
